Kate Bosworth made a stunning appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in a Prada dress and hair designed by Laini Reeves for Couture Colour Pequi Oil. What was Laini’s inspiration? The ornate Prada dress. “Kate is a classic beauty, I wanted her hair look to match – simple and clean” Laini Reeves Celebrity hairstylist for Couture Colour Pequi Oil.
How did she create Kate’s look? Laini wanted to create a simple and polished look for Kate at Vanity Fair Academy Awards Party. To accomplish this look, Laini first applied the CoutureColour Pequi Oil Treatment to wet hair thoroughly applying the treatment from root to tip. The formula absorbs instantly without weighing it down while giving the hair natural luster and shine without diminishing Kate’s gorgeous blonde colour. After the hair was dry, Laini then backcombed the roots with a teasing comb and then pulled the hair back into a ponytail using a soft Mason Pearson brush. Once the ponytail was fastened, Laini then divided the ponytail in two parts wrapping each around each other to create a rope effect fastening the entire look with a bobby pin.
