Dear Skin, I recently connected with a set of brushes that will help to preserve your youthful appearance. There is no drama of trying to figure out what brush to use where as there are only five clearly marked brushes for everyday use in this particular set. Everyone from the cosmetic novice to the expert will see the value in owning and using this fab five.
Since I know you like to understand all the details about everything that graces your surface, I have compiled detailed information about the set so you can refer to it anytime. This set of brushes is encased in a fashionable faux onyx snake skin case. The case is smart as it is moisture proof making it great for travel, gym and of course everyday vanity use/storage. The large zipper down the middle of the case is simple to open and close. The case in general is great for toting or space-saving.
The brushes address every possible cosmetic application that you could encounter. Here’s the skinny:
Pointed Kabuki Brush-Great for cleansing/masking the face, neck and decollete. The soft-touch application this brush offers will help to maintain your natural resilience and keep you youthful.
Flat-Top Foundation Brush-The flat top shape of this brush makes it a natural selection for exfoliating your surface. Simply sweep gently over your surface after cleansing to slough off any dry skin in need of removal.
Foundation Moisture Brush-Apply moisture to this brush, start it at the center of the face and work in outward strokes to the hairline. Applying to the neck and decollete always moves upward.
Concealer Brush-Applying care products to sensitive areas is done with great precision while using this brush.
Pointed Concealer Brush-Addresses blemishes. Apply your favorite blemish treatment to the brush and apply to your surface with a gentle tapping motion.
This high-end synthetic set works well in its mission to serve while preserving. As with any brush set, be sure to clean with every use. Care product binds well to the various brushes. Remember to use light pressure when applying any type of care product. The set is worth its weight in gold in terms of keeping skin cleaner and more bacteria-free when applying care products. Add these to your skin care regime for only $60.00 at www.adesignbrushes.com.
Have a beauiful week!
Sincerely,
Mary

What could possibly be better than a moisturizing self tanner that does not leave skin multiple shades of beautiful streaked? How about a self tanner that offers this plus SPF and a fantastic scent? It sounds too good to be true…really it does! Jergens has created this all-in-one amazing self tanning product!
Jergens Natural Glow & Protect Daily Moisturizergently graces the skin with SPF 20 while meeting other needs. The wonderful formula immediately activates upon application, drawing on skin’s natural ability to tan. Since this tanning wonder ranges two different shades addressing Fair To Medium Skin Tones and Medium To Tan Skin Tones, capturing your best shade is as simple as taking a refreshing breath…literally!
My experience. When these two arrived, I could not get them on my skin fast enough to see what they would do! The formula has been enhanced to meet more consumer needs which makes it a hybrid self-tanning wonder in my book. Texture is key in deliver and the application was a smooth glide over my face, neck, decollete and arms. Within an hour, I noticed a slight tan as Natural Glow & Protect went to work (for lighter skin tones). Later in the week, I applied to the same area the formula designated to tan deeper skin tones. The results were good with every application. Since my skin is generally lily white, there was ample opportunity to see immediate results. There was no orange or stark streaking with the finished product. These two will be hot SPF/self tanning items this warm weather season! In addition to all the wonderful qualities of this product, it also bears the Recommended DAILY USE Skin Cancer Foundation stamp. For more details and to purchase, visit www.jergens.com.
Have a beautiful week!

Kate Bosworth made a stunning appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in a Prada dress and hair designed by Laini Reeves for Couture Colour Pequi Oil. What was Laini’s inspiration? The ornate Prada dress. “Kate is a classic beauty, I wanted her hair look to match – simple and clean” Laini Reeves Celebrity hairstylist for Couture Colour Pequi Oil.
How did she create Kate’s look? Laini wanted to create a simple and polished look for Kate at Vanity Fair Academy Awards Party. To accomplish this look, Laini first applied the CoutureColour Pequi Oil Treatment to wet hair thoroughly applying the treatment from root to tip. The formula absorbs instantly without weighing it down while giving the hair natural luster and shine without diminishing Kate’s gorgeous blonde colour. After the hair was dry, Laini then backcombed the roots with a teasing comb and then pulled the hair back into a ponytail using a soft Mason Pearson brush. Once the ponytail was fastened, Laini then divided the ponytail in two parts wrapping each around each other to create a rope effect fastening the entire look with a bobby pin.
Amy Adams channels her inner Bridget Bardot with her glamourous hair and sexy Vivienne Westwood dress. Creating Amy’s hair for the event was Laini Reeves for Couture Color. What was Lani’s inspriation? Amy’s Vivian Westwood dress. “Amy is sexy and feminine and we wanted her look to match” Laini Reeves Celebrity hairstylist for Couture Colour Pequi Oil.
How she got the look: Laini wanted to create a soft and sexy look that was a bit untidy for the Vanity Fair Academy Awards Party. To accomplish this look, Laini first applied a dime size of the CoutureColour Pequi Oil Treatment to wet hair. The formula absorbs instantly and instead of weighing hair down actually makes hair expand giving fullness to Amy’s locks. The Pequi Oil Treatment protects the hair from heat, while still giving the hair a natural luster and shine. Once applied to Amy’s hair, Laini blow-dried hair and wrapped it around a 2 and ½ inch curling iron in different directions to add texture and volume. She then pulled all the hair back into a loose wave on the top of her head. She then pulled pieces around her hairline to frame her face Amy’s face.

Penelope Cruz wowed an audience of onlookers around the world with her old Hollywood glamour styling and Georgio Armani gown at this years Academy Awards ceremony. One of the main elements of her look was created by St. Tropez Tan expert Matthew Van Leeuwen. To achieve Penelope’s beautiful glow, Matthew gave Penelope a bronzed glow with a modest shimmer to complement her elegant, sophisticated OSCAR look. Added Matthew, I wanted to give penelope a nice subtle glow so I combined an equal amount of St. Tropez One Night Only Instant Body Glow Lotion with the St. Tropez Rose SkinIlluminator and applied it all over the upper body. Next, I dusted St. Tropez Bronzing Rocks over her shoulders, back and decolletage to finish it off!
